Bio
Danielle Cotton is an experienced biology educator and field botanist with a strong background in plant sciences, ecology, and science education. She currently serves as an Instructor at the University of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï’s School of Biological, Environmental, and Earth Sciences, where she teaches Biological Sciences I and II, Botany, Economic Botany, and Mycology, along with coordinating associated labs.
Danielle holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The University of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï. Her graduate research focused on vascular plant diversity at the Lake Thoreau Environmental Center. Over the past two decades, she has held various teaching and leadership roles across the university, public schools, and environmental education programs. As a licensed landscape horticulturist and certified biology educator, she brings a unique combination of academic, field, and teaching expertise to her work with students and the community.
